This book is about Ash who is a Pokemon trainer. He went hiking in a mountain with his friends Misty and Brock. He was stuck in the middle of a snowstorm and they were in the middle of it building a cave for a night. When they started to build it, one of Ash's pokemon Pikachu was swept away by the wind. Ash chased him and when he fell they built their own cave. Once they finished they covered the entrance. They were freezing so Ash picked Charmander a fire pokemon to keep them warm. Then Charmander was getting tired so Ash told him to go back in his poke ball. Then his pokemon could not stand him suffering so they came out of their
poke balls and kept him warm. The next day Ash found Misty and Brock. They then saw a hot air balloon. It belonged to their enemy Team Rocket. In the end they got into the hot air balloon and went home.
